They are all very hard! They have a very high melting and boiling points. Very conductive. Malleabe whitc means if you hit it hard enough it will stay in a perment place. They have Positve oxidation states.They have low ionization. Their D Orbitabls become for filled, from left to right on the table.

Silver is used in quarters, nickels and dimes!
Copper and Gold are the only transition metals that have natural color
Mercury is named after the Roman God.


Common Uses!

Gold is used in teeth , glasses,and jewlery.
Zinc is helps prevent corrosion in metals.
